Course Overview
Our goal is to produce high-quality graduates with broad-based education in biomedical engineering who are well prepared for careers in industry and further study in graduate, medical or other health professional schools. Our graduates are trained to apply their skills in an ethical, sustainable and environmentally responsible manner to make contributions that address societal and individual needs.

Programme Structure Our objective is to prepare students: for productive employment, graduate study or professional programs, especially in human and animal medicine, biotechnology and related biology-based engineering fields who continue to develop technical knowledge, awareness and leadership abilities to address domestic or global issues in human health who will ethically and responsibly contribute to society, drawing from an integrated, multidisciplinary biomedical engineering education, focusing on sustainability and environmentalism
Academic Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements The admission standards for majors in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering are higher than minimum university admission standards. International students may have an additional English-language proficiency criterion. Foreign nationals must meet the same admission requirements shown below with the possible additional requirement of a minimum TOEFL score. If the university requires a TOEFL score from the applicant, (see http://global.asu.edu/future/undergrad) then admission to engineering requires a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), 79 on iBT (Internet-based) or a minimum IELTS score of 6.5.
