The health and fitness field has many career options, so when you're trying to choose a career, you'll most likely want to first determine what type of degree you should pursue. Course Overview

Students pursuing this major will take classes in fitness, nutrition, healthy eating, stress management, and the cultural and political aspects of health and healthcare. Students will interact with faculty and professionals who have devoted their lives to teaching and promoting positive lifestyles. The program also emphasizes community integration through nonprofit and for-profit organizations, which provide opportunities for internships. The school falls under the banner of ASU's College of Health Solutions, in the School of Nutrition & Health Promotion, a uniquely interdisciplinary research organization.
