If you are graduating with a degree in arts or humanities, it's likely that you chose your subject for its own sake rather than as a means to an end or with a view to going into a particular career.
Apart from teaching, there are very few career areas directly related to humanities graduates who wish to use their subject. That does not mean, though, that your career is not relevant to your job search.
Appalachian's Theatre Arts (BA) - Theatre Education degree is dedicated to developing the next generation of theatre artists and educators for careers in schools, professional theatres and community settings. In this program, you will participate in all aspects of theatre and education from acting, designing and building scenery, to creating lessons, guest lecturing and teaching public school workshops. In this degree you will be trained by theatre specialists and education faculty on how to be a more effective teacher in grades K-12. Teaching placements and internships round out your preparation.
