There is a great deal of coordinating and planning in the field is imperative. Many professionals and workers in the construction field may work based on specific project contracts for large companies, small projects and individual clients. Professionals in the field must work with a variety of stakeholders, including the client, government authorities, planners and designers, and building code and regulation inspectors.

Course Overview

This program prepares Navy, Coast Guard, foreign naval officers, and other graduate students for careers in ship design and construction. Besides providing the students a comprehensive education in naval engineering, we emphasize their future roles as advocates in ship design and acquisition.

Academic Entry Requirement

Submission of the online application. Qualified applicants interested in more than one department must submit separate applications to each department of interest. A $75 application fee. Applications to the MIT Sloan School of Management may have application fees between $75 and $250. Letters of recommendation. A statement of objectives. Official GRE test scores. English Entry Requirement

The IELTS or the International English Language Test System tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.009.00. The minimum IELTS score requirement refers to which Overall Band Score you received, which is your combined average score.
