Course Overview

As a French major, you re immersed in the language, culture, and literature of the Francophone world from France to Senegal, from Quebec to Guadeloupe. You learn how to write, speak and understand the language in class through conversations and various cultural projects. You can explore translation, film, business, and phonetics as well. Beyond the classroom, you can participate in conversation tables, the French Club and Global Scholars program on campus or travel abroad through Bradley's multiple short-term and semester-long study abroad programs. The major is designed to easily fit with another major. Bradley's French program successfully prepares you to enter the workforce or graduate school. In recent years, most students found jobs or continued their education within six months of graduation. They're working in local school districts, in Spain and for supply chain management companies. Others are continuing their education at institutions such as Kent State University.

Academic Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements Complete application Official copy of high school transcripts sent to Bradley directly from your high school. Official SAT or ACT scores sent directly from the testing service or included on an official high school transcript. One letter of recommendation is recommended, but not required.
